Our True Soap is formulated to embody the essence of a natural soap. With only 3 ingredients True Soap by Old Mill Natural Soap Co. is 45% Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil, 25% Organic Extra Virgin Coconut Oil, and 30% Pure Cocoa Butter.
I created this soap to honor what we love about a 100% olive oil bar, while bringing the ratio down to a little less than half to balance the need for a longer lasting and more effective soap, and one that not only has the conditioning and anti inflammatory properties of Olive Oil, but also the beneficial properties of Cocoa butter, and coconut butter.
No fillers, added colour, scent, or surfactants. The soaping action comes from the natural glycerin found in a true soap, while the non saponifiable skin supporting constituents of the oils protect the skin as you clean.
** Natural soaps are best kept dry in between uses to increase longevity. Natural soap sometimes develops soda ash on the surface which is a gentle white ash. It doesn't effect the quality or longevity of the soap and is a byproduct of saponification. The colouration of our soaps may vary from batch to batch. Natural soap can expire, when it is expired it will form orange spots created by caustic oils. Your soap will stay good for longer if it is kept in a dry cool place out of direct sunlight between uses. The average shelf life is 1 year.
