True Soap: Composed mainly of "alkali salts of fatty acids," which is the result of combining fats or oils with an alkali, such as lye. The cleaning action of true soap comes solely from these alkali salts of fatty acids. ~

Made with Distilled Water & Saponified Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil, Organic Extra Virgin Coconut Oil, Organic and/or 100% Pure Unrefined Cocoa Butter, I make True Soap as a holist, with experience as a highly sensitive person navigating environmental sensitivities in an urban environment.

True Soap is made with a hot press process, leaving us with a soap that need only to harden, and is useable right away. The hot process allows us to ensure the highest ratio of natural glycerin in the final soap. It's this hot process that gives our soap its signature rugged look. With the balance of saponifiable and unsaponifiable constituents in the three ingredients True Soap is gentle on the skin while effectively cleansing.

I select the ingredients in our soap based on their purity, integrity, and what they do for our skin.  While not making any therapeutic claims for our soap, our ingredients are chosen in consideration of their commonly accepted benefits to skin health with their topical use, in the context of soap, and their combined qualities.
